Dessert Sushi Style
Let me start off by saying I don't think of myself as a gourmet, I'm more of a wannabe gourmet. But the title The Wednesday Wannabe Gourmet just didn't have the same ring. So I'm wannabe gourmet and my cooking proves it. The last big meal I cooked wasn't my best. It was good, but it wasn't my best. My wife and I, had Dadguy, Bon and The Chaos Girls over for dinner.
The Menu:
- Italian Popcorn
- Cheese & Leek Soup
- Prosciutto and Pea Alfredo on Rotini
- Pastry Baked Brie w/ Baguette
- Dessert Sushi
The soup turned out really nice, but I forgot to season it before I put it on the table.
The Alfredo tasted great, but it never set up so it was very runny. But you've gotta love anything with Prosciutto in it.
The Pastry Baked Brei was yummy. The cheese course is fast becoming a favorite of mine.
